Football Club Deal Sealed

The multimillion pound deal which secures Chesterfield Football Club’s future at it’s new, prestigious stadium has now completed. Banner Jones, the football club’s solicitors, advised on the deal which includes the acquisition of the site and the contracts for construction of the new stadium.

It’s not only a significant deal commercially, but personally it has been exciting to be involved in some local regeneration, which will be fully realised when the Spirites play at their new home. ’

The 10,000 seat stadium, which will be located at Whittington Moor, incorporates a retail outlet, catering and conferencing facilities. The construction of the stadium is forecast to be completed by July 2010 in time for the 2010-2011 Football season.
