Trevor qualified as a solicitor in 1978, and worked for local authorities until 1987 when he joined the firm.

His practice in Banner Jones focuses primarily on Dispute Resolution, Debt Recovery and Employment Law. Trevor advises either employers or employees on all employment issues including contracts, dismissals, discrimination and redundancy. He also practises general personal civil litigation, including probate disputes and building contracts disputes – where he has particular expertise.

Trevor maintains a commercial viewpoint on legal matters, particularly in employment law where the conduct of each case must be balanced against its financial implications. He sees preventative work as an important part of his approach.

Trevor also acts for local authorities on employment law, and in relation to some planning and highways law.
