Denney started his legal career in 2003 at a specialist criminal practice in Leicester. He was accredited as a police station representative soon after and has had dealings with a wide variety of cases including both minor and serious offences.

Denney qualified in August 2007 and joined Banner Jones as part of the successful Criminal Defence Team. He represents a large number of clients on a daily basis at the Police Station and in the various Magistrates and Youth Courts. Denney fully appreciates the importance of continuity in a case and whenever possible will represent the client through the investigative stage to the conclusion of the matter.

He strongly believes that every client is important and will always provide the appropriate advice to the individual as required.

Denney also speaks fluent Chinese.
