Jan Ferguson

Legal Executive

Jan is an enthusiastic conveyancer based in our Sheffield office carrying out the full range of residential sales and purchase transactions including right to buy, new build, leasehold and shared ownership. She also deals with re-mortgages, equity release and transfer of equity.

Born and educated locally, Jan initially trained as a teacher at Matlock College of Education and specialised in the education of children with special needs as well as teaching 3 to 8 year olds.

When Jan decided on a career change in 1998, she worked in several Chesterfield law firms and intended to follow up her interest in family law. However, Jan developed a love of conveyancing and moved to Sheffield in 2000 to train as a Legal Executive, specialising in property law.

Jan has a good knowledge of the local housing market but is also experienced in dealing with property transactions nationwide.

Jan believes that excellent client care is vital and provides her clients with the level of support they need, working hard to ensure that the transaction goes through as quickly and smoothly as possible.
