What do you specialise in?

Toby has specialised in family and matrimonial work since 1996, qualifying in 1997. He joined Banner Jones as a family partner in 2008 to build on the department’s strong reputation and private client work.

Accreditations & memberships

An accredited specialist with Resolution (formerly Solicitors Family Law Association), Toby is also able to help with issues surrounding Children, pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements and domestic violence. Toby is the South Yorkshire collaborative group liaison officer. He is actively involved locally, regionally and nationally trying to move non-confrontational collaborative law forward and make it more widely available for suitable cases. Toby is also a professional member of the International Centre for Families in Business which allows him to give Family Owned businesses specialist legal advice.

What was your first job?

I worked in a commercial house plant nursery in North Wales.

What are your hobbies?

Rugby Union (watching not playing these days), reading, gym.

What's your favourite drink?

Guinness.

What would your ideal holiday be?

Snorkelling and diving in the Maldives.

What has been your greatest achievement this year?

Getting through the Great Yorkshire Run with two dodgy knees and too little training.
