Childcare Solicitor

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Childcare Solicitor to work at our Nottingham office, dealing with Nottinghamshire children matters, principally in the Nottingham and Mansfield family courts.

 

Full or Part Time Hours - Permanent Contract.

Commencement date: immediate start (Dependant on Notice period). 

Hours of business are:  Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm

 

The successful candidate will have an opportunity to take over the conduct of an existing caseload upon the retirement of the current Childcare Solicitor at our Nottingham office, and will be supported by an experienced Legal Secretary and Paralegal, with additional support from our Derbyshire Childcare team as required.   

 

The role would suit an experienced candidate looking to develop an existing caseload, whilst enjoying the support of a well-established team in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Candidates will also be expected to either hold a children panel accreditation or be looking to achieve this in the near future.

 

To join our well-respected Legal 500 recommended Childcare team you must be a motivated individual who is committed to developing new business.  You will have the confidence to undertake advocacy work in order to represent clients at court and will possess excellent interpersonal skills in order to deal with front facing clients.  More experienced candidates will be considered on merit. 

 

Own transport/valid UK driver licence holder is desirable as there may be an element of travelling to various family courts and Company offices.      

Salary is negotiable, according to experience.
