New Business Administrator - Chesterfield

To ensure our clients receive an exceptional customer service experience, we are seeking a New Business Administrator to join our busy New Business team based in Chesterfield. 

Full time Hours – Permanent Contract

Commencement date: immediate start (Dependant on Notice period).  
Hours of business are Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

The Role:

This position would suit someone who has previous customer service experience, although, applications received from inexperienced candidates who have a strong desire to develop within the role will also be considered as a thorough training programme will be provided. 

You will be required to be hard working with excellent written/verbal communication skills and adaptability to work as part of a team. The successful applicant will be expected to deal with a high volume of calls by giving out Residential Property Sale and Purchase quotes so should possess a good level of numeracy and attention to ensure accurate information is relayed.  Ability to demonstrate commitment and drive in the delivery of a high-quality service at all times whilst prioritising a busy workload and meeting deadlines is essential.    

The successful candidate must be a friendly, motivated and confident team player with the ability to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction in order to promote further department business growth opportunities. You will have an extremely positive attitude, show confidence, enthusiasm and will be articulate, highly organised, and IT literate as you will also be required to accurately gather information from calls.

Key Duties:

You will join a small team assisting the Customer Relations Manager and your responsibilities will include:

- Providing Residential Property quotes to prospective clients over the telephone and by email.  You may also be required to meet with potential new clients who attend the office. 

- Managing the client on-boarding process through our client portal

- Accurately opening new client matters on the database in accordance with the firm’s procedures. 

- Any other duties as required.

Knowledge, Experience and/or Skills:

  • Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential as a thorough training programme will be provided.
  • Candidates should be articulate and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills – essential.
  • Candidates should possess a good level of numeracy and attention to detail skills - essential.
  • Candidates should have a strong desire to develop within the role - essential.
