Danny joined our Employment Law team in Sheffield in July 2020, bringing with him extensive experience covering;
- Preparation of settlement agreements
- Contracts of employment
- Policies and staff handbooks
- Unfair Dismissal
- Employment tribunal claim preparation and litigation
Working with a range of clients, including individuals, SMEs and larger companies, Danny will help the firm’s leading employment law team manage a surge in enquiries fuelled by the coronavirus pandemic, relating to key issues including the Government’s Coronavirus Job Retention scheme, changes to company policies and procedures, as well as company restructures.
Danny can provide commercial and pragmatic service to all of his clients and have a no-nonsense approach. He advises clients on their options, including merits and formulating a course of action; and gets to the point in a clear manner. Danny also takes pride in the fact that he completes his own advocacy in court, which means that he can be there for his clients every step of the way.
To take his advocacy to the next level, Danny is currently studying his Higher Rights of Audience course. This is a specialised advocacy qualification, which once completed means that he will qualify as a Solicitor-Advocate, sharing the same rights of audience as a Barrister and therefore he will be able to represent clients at employment tribunals in England & Wales.
Danny is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Industrial Law Society.
