Jasmine initially qualified as a criminal defence solicitor in 2006 and went on to transfer to the Bar in 2009 (Gray’s Inn). Jasmine has worked as an independent barrister attached to Chambers and has worked in in-house roles.
Jasmine specialised in the defence of serious crime including; rape and sexual offences, violent offences against both adults and children including child cruelty and neglect. Jasmine has been involved in multi defendant conspiracy cases in relation in drugs, violence, illegal immigration and frauds.
Jasmine prosecuted for both the Crown Prosecution Service and Local Authorities in the East Midlands. She was also instructed to represent the National Probation Service and Local Police Forces in relation to obtaining Domestic Violence Protection Orders.
Jasmine has joined the Care Proceedings team at Banner Jones in Nottingham, where her professional skills and background make her ideally suited to assist and develop our award winning team, involved in the safeguarding of children within the social care system.
