Sarah has been qualified as a Solicitor for 22 years and is now a Director and Head of the Wills & Probate Department.
Sarah’s particular expertise is in Deputyships, acting as a professional Attorney and the creation and management of Trusts. Sarah has been appointed by the Court of Protection as a Deputy for clients who are unable to manage their finances and property affairs. Sarah advises clients who require a Compensation Protection Trust following the award of compensation for personal injury or medical negligence.
Sarah advises on the creation and management of trusts and holds appointments as a trustee for a wide range of trusts.
Sarah also has specialist knowledge of company and commercial matters having spent several years dealing with acquisitions and disposals of businesses.
She qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and undertook further training and exams to gain the Society Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma which she passed with a distinction in December 2008.
Sarah also has a wealth of experience dealing with the administration of a deceased's estate (probate), inheritance tax and Wills. Sarah regularly attends professional groups to speak about Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts and regularly write articles for newspapers and other publications.
Sarah is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
