Jason Burnett takes the helm of Banner Jones' Care team as firm continues regional expansion
Banner Jones Solicitors has announced that Director, Jason Burnett, has taken over the leadership of its specialist Care department, as the firm continues to strengthen and expand its services across North Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.
Jason, who joined Banner Jones in 2022, has played a key role in developing and strengthening the firm's Care services and will now take responsibility for leading the department through its next phase of growth.
He succeeds Vince Beckworth, Director and Head of Child Care Law at Banner Jones, who is leaving the firm to pursue new opportunities, having made a significant contribution to the department and the children and families it supports.
A solicitor since 2008, Jason has dedicated his career to protecting the interests of children and families. He is a member of the Law Society's Accredited Children Panel and is recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in the UK Legal 500.
His promotion coincides with Banner Jones celebrating its 14th consecutive year of recognition in the Legal 500, with its Family Law and Care team retaining its Tier 2 ranking in the newly published 2027 edition.
The firm's Care team represents children involved in care proceedings, as well as parents, grandparents and extended family members navigating complex public law matters.
As he takes over the leadership of the department, Jason will focus on driving service development, supporting business growth and further strengthening training and mentoring opportunities across the team.
His appointment forms part of Banner Jones' wider commitment to growing its specialist Care offering and ensuring families across the region have access to experienced, high-quality legal representation.
