Jakob joined Banner Jones as a Will Writer in our Private Client team in Chesterfield in June 2026.
In his role, Jakob assists clients with the preparation and amendment of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), helping clients plan for the future by ensuring their intentions are properly documented and legally protected.
Jakob graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2026. Alongside his studies, he gained valuable legal experience through a number of roles within the legal sector. Between 2023 and 2025, he volunteered with the SEND department at the Liverpool Law Clinic, including work on its Judicial Review project. He also worked as an Administrative & Assessment Assistant for Derbyshire Law Centre from 2024 to 2026.
Jakob has a keen interest in the impact of emerging technologies on the law. An essay he authored on AI holography and its effects on the estates of deceased celebrities in the UK, in light of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, is due to be published by the Liverpool Law Review during the forthcoming academic year.
Qualifications
Jakob graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2026 with a First Class LLB (Hons) degree in Law.
