Banner Jones renews support for Ashgate Hospice’s Sparkle Night Walk as returning medal sponsor for 2026
Chesterfield-based law firm Banner Jones has reaffirmed its commitment to the local community by once again taking part in Ashgate Hospice’s flagship fundraising event - Sparkle Night Walk - while returning for a second consecutive year as the event’s official medal sponsor.
Taking place on Saturday 27th June 2026, this year’s walk marks the 11th anniversary of the much-loved event, which sees thousands of people take to the streets of Chesterfield in glitter and pink to raise funds for end of life care across North Derbyshire.
Banner Jones staff members will, once again, be among the walkers this year, marking the sixth year the firm has participated in the event. Over the years, staff have raised over £4000 for Ashgate Hospice through their participation in Sparkle Night Walk.
In addition to donning their face with glitter, the firm has strengthened its ongoing support by signing up for a second year as one of the event’s official sponsors, sponsoring the event medals and helping to fund the event while raising awareness of the hospice’s vital services.
Ashgate Hospice provides free, compassionate care for adults in North Derbyshire living with life-limiting or incurable illnesses, including cancer and neurological diseases. Its specialist teams offer palliative and end of life care, helping people stay comfortable and well-supported. Support also extends to those important to the person being cared for, offering both practical help and emotional support.

Thousands of walkers are expected to take part in this year’s Sparkle Night Walk to remember someone important to them while helping to fund vital palliative and end of life care for people across North Derbyshire.
Participants can sign up for the event, which starts at Chesterfield Football Club, for £25 per person.
