Banner Jones shortlisted for two national awards following 2025 win

Banner Jones Solicitors has been shortlisted for two national awards, a year after winning the Best Innovation Award at the 2025 LawNet Awards.
The firm, which has offices across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, is in the running for Excellence in Client Care, while its Residential Property Team has been shortlisted for Team of the Year.
The nominations follow Banner Jones’ success at last year’s LawNet Awards, where it was recognised for transforming its conveyancing service through a fully digital, end-to-end approach.
Since then, the firm has continued to invest in its people, technology and services, extending digital improvements across the business while maintaining a focus on accessibility and client care.
The Excellence in Client Care nomination recognises Banner Jones’ firm-wide commitment to the client experience and its role in shaping the wider business strategy.
This has included specialist training for client-facing teams, from neurodiversity awareness and safeguarding for vulnerable clients to Dementia Friends and Lifetime Lawyer accreditation and specialist family law accreditations.
Further investment in technology has also made services easier to access, giving clients greater flexibility over when and how they interact with the firm.
Meanwhile, the Residential Property Team’s nomination follows a period of record growth for the department, alongside faster transaction times and strong levels of client satisfaction.
Simon Wright, CEO of Banner Jones, said: “Following our Best Innovation win last year, being shortlisted in two categories this time around is a real achievement for the firm.
“What is particularly important to us is what these two nominations represent. One recognises the work taking place across Banner Jones to improve the experience our clients receive, while the other recognises the performance of our Residential Property Team.
“We have invested significantly in our people and technology, but that investment has always been about making our services easier to access and improving the way we work for our clients.
“Our Residential Property Team has continued to grow and develop following last year’s award, while colleagues across the wider firm have been looking at how we can apply the same focus on improvement to every stage of the client journey.
“To have both recognised by LawNet is a positive reflection of the progress we are making as a business.”
The LawNet Awards recognise achievements among independent law firms across the UK in areas including client service, innovation and team performance. The 2026 winners will be announced at the LawNet Annual Conference Dinner at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport on 6 November.
