Innovative Wellness Clinic Opens at Chesterfield’s The Glass Yard

An innovative new health and wellbeing business, Oxyclinic, has become the latest tenant at The Glass Yard in Chesterfield, taking on two units at the prestigious mixed-use development.
Led by directors James & Andrea Leary, OxyClinic Ltd offers specialist therapy treatments including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), Red-Light, Infrared-Light and Blue-Light Therapies, supporting people seeking recovery, rehabilitation, and general wellbeing.
Oxyclinic works with clients to support with a wide range of needs — from professional athletes and people recovering from injury or surgery to individuals living with long-term health conditions, fatigue, and those looking to improve their overall wellbeing.
Supported by Banner Jones’ commercial property team, OxyClinic opened its doors on February 1st, having completed assignment of lease (legal transfer of a tenant's rights and obligations under an existing lease to a new tenant) on 23 December 2025, signing up to a lease with 6 years of the term remaining for two units at The Glass Yard.
The move marks a strategic step for the business as it establishes itself in Chesterfield, grows its presence locally and expands its offering.
Commenting on the new premises, James said the business chose The Glass Yard as its base due to the open-plan layout and high-quality finish of the premises, as well as excellent parking with 2hrs free parking and accessible facilities for clients with disabilities.
Commercial Property Solicitor Amarie Colphon, from Banner Jones Solicitors, who advised the business on the successful negotiation and completion of the lease, said: “It has been a pleasure to support James and the team at OxyClinic as they take this exciting next step.
We’re always proud to help Chesterfield-based businesses secure the right premises to match their ambitions, and The Glass Yard is a fantastic location for a forward-thinking business like this.”
James & Andrea Leary, founders and directors of OxyClinic, said: “OxyClinic is a wellness & healing clinic offering Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), Red-Light, Infrared-Light & Blue-Light Therapies, and our mission is to support people across Chesterfield and the wider area with recovery, rehabilitation, and overall wellbeing.
Our new facility enables to offer our sessions in a calm, clinic-based setting, with (HBOT) carried out in a dedicated oxygen chamber and Red-Light therapy provided as a separate treatment.
Combined, they create a powerful synergy, flooding tissues with oxygen while red light optimizes cellular energy, leading to amplified benefits like faster recovery, reduced inflammation, enhanced cognitive function, improved skin health, and boosted physical performance by supercharging mitochondria and improving circulation.
We work with everyone from professional athletes and those recovering from injury or surgery to people living with chronic health conditions or fatigue.
We know the difference these therapies can make to our patients, and we are excited to bring this service to The Glass Yard. Banner Jones has been fantastic in supporting us through the lease process, and the open-plan space, excellent parking, and easy access for clients with disabilities made it the perfect location for us.”
Oxyclinic’s arrival is the latest business to choose The Glass Yard as a base, reflecting its appeal as a modern destination for working, retail, and community activity in the region. A large mixed-use development on Sheffield Road, and located on the former fire station site, it combines office and retail space and designed as a place to work, eat, meet, and collaborate.
