What do you specialise in?
Sara is training to be a qualified Chartered Legal Executive with CILEx Law School, specialising in Employment Law.
Sara has advised both employers and individuals with all aspects of HR and employment law matters including claims for unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal and discrimination. She has supported both claimants and respondents during matters before the Employment Tribunal, the Employment Appeal Tribunal, and in mediation, including judicial mediation.
Sara utilises her skills and experience to help clients with a wide range of employment law matters including the drafting of settlement agreements and service level agreements, the drafting and review of contracts of employment, staff handbooks and other policies and procedures.
Sara’s previous employment in HR, gives her an insight into both employer and employee perspectives, especially when dealing with matters relating to disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, discrimination and sickness absence.
With her academic and professional experience in the field of forensic psychology, Sara is able to apply this knowledge within a legal setting, and demonstrate empathy and understanding to clients who, due to the nature of employment law matters, face potentially life altering issues.
Sara is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
