Katie's Experience

Katie has over 18 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of HR and employment law matters and is a longstanding member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Katie acts for both employers and individuals and has a wealth of experience in representing clients before the Employment Tribunal, the Employment Appeal Tribunal, the Court of Appeal and in mediation, including judicial mediation.

Expertise

Katie's particular expertise is in TUPE, the law relating to handling redundancies, collective consultation and trade unions, and she has advised on complex TUPE situations for local and national organisations.

Katie prides herself on building lasting relationships with her clients so that she can support them by offering pragmatic and workable solutions to issues that arise in the workplace.

Katie and her team are extremely proud to have won the Employment Team of the Year Award for two consecutive years (2022 and 2023) at the Sheffield & District Law Society Awards!

They also advised alongside our wider commercial law team on a deal which won National/International Deal of the Year at the 2023 South Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards.
