Later Life Planning Consultation

Planning your Will, LPAs, Trusts, or wider estate arrangements can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re unsure what is needed or how everything fits together. Many people don’t know where to start. With this in mind we have developed a Later Life Planning Consultation specifically for this purpose.  In a 60-minute private consultation you will be able to discuss your circumstances with an estate planning expert who will then advise you on the best course of action to suit your needs. We can even discuss funeral plans with you if required. Following the consultation you will receive a comprehensive advice letter which will outline the recommended course of action for you.

What The Consultation Includes:

During your one‑hour private session with an estate planning expert, we will help you understand:

  • What documents you actually need — whether that is a standard Will, a tax‑efficient Will, Trust arrangements for children, or Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • How to protect your assets for the people you care about, including children, vulnerable relatives, or blended families.
  • How to make your estate as tax‑efficient as possible, including lifetime gifting and inheritance tax considerations
  • Whether funeral planning or personal wishes should be documented
  • What actions you should take immediately, and which ones can come later.

This is not a generic overview. It’s tailored to your life, your assets, and your priorities.

Who This Consultation Is Ideal For

While anyone can benefit, it is especially helpful if you:

  • Are approaching retirement or thinking about later life
  • Haven’t updated your Will in many years
  • Have children (including adult children), step‑children or dependents
  • Are considering gifting assets or reducing inheritance tax
  • Want to understand LPAs properly — a topic clients often misunderstand
  • Manage the affairs of a parent or loved one
  • Own property or have business interests
  • Simply “don’t know where to start”
