What do you specialise in?

Nikki has spent the last 30 years working in Private Client departments,  specialising in all areas including;

  • Wills
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Probate
  • Trusts
  • Court of Protection and Deputyships

Nikki has a particular interest in the law relating to elderly clients, which involves working alongside the families – supporting the elderly and helping them to make long term care decisions.  Nikki will also help the families to put the plans into place, which may include seeking funding from the local authorities.

Nikki is also appointed as trustee on some trusts and acts as the attorney for some clients where she deals with all their financial affairs including payment of bills, checking their care home provision and dealing with their property.   A lot of this work involves working with clients who may have impaired capacity such as dementia and to assist with this Nikki is a Dementia Friend and a fully accredited member of an organisation called Solicitors for the Elderly.
